The perfect sneakers to celebrate the Year of the Dragon

2024 has finally arrived and Chinese culture is also about to celebrate the usual New Year which takes place every year on a day from January 21st to February 29th and is associated with a real or mythological animal.

This year the Chinese New Year will be celebrated from February 10th and for the following two weeks, in which public and private parties will be organized to mark the arrival of this new year, in which the dragon is the protagonist.

In oriental culture and in particular the Chinese one, the dragon does not have a negative meaning of destruction as it might have in our culture, on the contrary it is considered the embodiment of the concept of yang, the fruitful and creative spirit, bringer of rain and nourishment for the crops. Furthermore, according to tradition, the dragon reproduces by fertilizing a pearl which in depictions they often keep in their mouth and which will give birth to a new dragon.

Consequently, like every year, Nike releases sneakers to celebrate this event and always does so in great style, let's see them in detail!
