Nike continues to pay homage to Ken Griffey JR., former American baseball player, this time together with his father and teammate. For this reason, the two initials "JR" and "SR" are embroidered on the reinforced heels, while on the sides the numbers "24" and "30", refer to the respective shirts.

The upper of this Air Force 1 is dressed in white leather contrasted by the black details of the Swoosh and the label on the heel, the internal padding and the AIR writing that appears on the midsole. Some very special details are the marks engraved in the leather that makes up the heel tab to make it resemble the wood grain of baseball bats and the red stitching is an obvious reference to those seen on baseballs.
