Nike Air Max 95 Freddy Krueger

Nike Air Max 95 Freddy Krueger

Nike Air Max 95 Freddy Krueger. Halloween is upon us and as tradition Nike is starting preparations for the scariest day of the year. Among the numerous themed releases, an Air Max 95 inspired by the terrifying Freddy Krueger stands out.

The character of the film saga "A Nightmare on Elm Street" was once again chosen as the starting point for the creation of another "horror sneaker". After the famous 2007 Dunk SB Low Freddy Krueger, Nike has decided to replicate the killer theme.

Unlike the Dunk SB, removed from the market due to legal problems with New Line Cinema, the upper of the Air Max 95 is more based on the sweater worn by Krueger.

In fact, the upper part in mesh and canvas does not feature green accents, a color for which the film's production company resorted to sue Nike. Instead is tinged with Velvet Brown, University Red and Team Red. Continuing towards the central area of the sneaker, we find a tongue decorated with a checkered pattern. Above that, a chrome-plated silver panel is positioned with splashes of blood reminiscent of FreddyKrueger's metal claws. Again on the heel the Nike Air swoosh is embroidered and in the insole of the shoe, where the logo drips blood. To complete the look a beige midsole with red Air unit and contrasting black outsole.

The Air Max 95 “Freddy Krueger” will be released "by surprise" on October 31st.
