Nike Air Max 95 OG Neon (2020)

Nike Air Max 95 OG Neon (2020). This year not only celebrates Air Max 90's 30th anniversary, but also the 25th birthday of the Air Max 95. The silhouette will return for the occasion in the iconic "Neon" version. We find neon green and yellow details on the laces, Swoosh and Air Max units, all of this on a grayscale upper.

Designed by Sergio Lozano, who worked in Nike's ACG category in the mid-90s, the Air Max 95 is originally designed for heavier and more powerful runners. Athletes needed maximum cushioning to cushion the impact on the asphalt. The design was inspired by human anatomy, with a lacing system inspired by the ribs, a sole that recalls the spine and a mesh and suede upper that represents the muscle fibers.

This bold inspiration required a layered upper structure with synthetic suede, stitched and compression molded to ensure maximum support without losing shape over time. Already seen on the Air Jordan IV at the beginning of the year, the “Neon” colorway will once again color the upper. The 2020 edition of the shoe will boast all the same features found in the OG pair designed by Sergio Lozano.
