Nike Dunk High Varsity Maize

Nike Dunk High Varsity Maize

Nike Dunk High Varsity Maize. Before becoming a streetwear icon and a must-have for skateboarding, Dunk began its journey on American college floors. The design became famous in 1985, when it debuted alongside other match-color products for university sports leagues.

Now, a selection of these popular colors is back to pay homage to the model's 35th anniversary. Maize is the corn color, a bright yellow created specifically for this silhouette. As with the ultra coveted pair commemorating the 1999 Wu-Tang Clan, the Nike proposal features a "black" and yellow palette across its smooth leather upper.

The first tone sets the stage for the second, which takes up the laces, all the overlaps and branding on the tongue. Underfoot, Peter Moore's design keeps its sole reminiscent of Air Jordan 1, with the "White" and "Varsity Maize" colorway. Together, each shade creates one of the most anticipated Dunks of 2020, which tells her a long time how much attention was paid to the silhouette during its 35th anniversary.
